When prospects and clients type your location and specialty on Google, they see the top 10 results Google has on the results page. It’s called a SERP or Search Engine Results Page. The #1 ranked result can get as many as 40% of the clicks and the #2 result can get somewhere between 8% and 15% but of course these numbers vary hourly and day by day. Every result on that first page gets clicks… surfers rarely go to the 2nd page or 3rd page looking for a relevant result. The point is that it behooves you in a business sense to be on that 1st page of results in a Top 10 position. The higher you get to the top the more business you can generate.
