I want to thank everyone for leaving great comments about New Zealand Web Designer Melanie McMinn’s fabulous Frugal Kiwi blog. We just had our WordPress WordCamp NYC 2009 event here in NYC and there were 50 sessions over 2 days. A couple friends of mine presented. I would have presented this blog as the best example of a Thesis Themed WordPress blog that I have ever seen… and until next year’s WordCamp NYC, I will use this one as the champ to judge all other Thesis Themes by that I find in the wild. I agree! I love the look of the Kiwi website!

But the content! Informative and fun with lots of green ideas, great recipes and just the right amount of humor!

And Alexandra…shame on you wishing her vacay over! I know what you mean though…I miss them too.

Just think what a wonderful adventure she will be sharing with us though!

I really like this blog so maybe I’m biased (as I find the content to be as compelling as the design and I’m always so impressed with the projects Melanie writes about and teaches readers to do) but I totally agree that visually it is very impressive. I find the lay-out to be really eye-catching — and the visuals make me want to read the words. So, thanks for reviewing it here! I hope readers will also take a look at the site — not only is Melanie helping people save money but she’s also lessening our negative impact on the environment with all of her good ideas!
