What is a SERP?

SERP stands for Search Engine Results Page. When you go to Google.com or Yahoo.com or MSN.com and type a search phrase in the search bar, you get an answer page that’s known as a SERP. There are normally 10 results on a SERP. So the first SERP is also known as “Page One” or the “Top 10″ because the # 1 result through the # 10 result are all there on one page.
